Our new dinghy, Elixir, arrives Friday week, and subject to no ski
accidents, etc, we hope launch to her on Sunday 6th April - in long-standing
tradition.



Sailing starts at noon, so we hopefully will be out on the water at 11.45
after a sip or two at circa 11.20 ish, followed by lunch and a second race
2.30.



It was 11.20 a.m. 19th December 2003 (that is erm 4 plus years ago) - a top
oncologist said:



Mr Dixon

-you have cancer in your liver and lungs

-you have six months, possibly a year

-chemotherapy is the best option

-it will not prolong your longevity

-even if it clears the tumours, morel quickly return

-you will die of this



So much for statistics!
