Hello to all,
It certainly has been a quite year so far. Didn't notice any posts coming
through on my
email
and came back to the group to see what was up? Not much : )
If anyone is out there who has had recurring basal cell cancers I'd really like
to hear from
them. Last Oct. I had a basal cell cancer treated on my nose. The removal went
well with a
flap for reconstruction. I still have a bit of redness and a number of long red
veins that
weren't there before. Perhaps my body's effort to heal the incision. There are
a few spots
I'm having my dermatologist look at soon, hope they are just that - spots.
Has anyone here have Moh's surgery for BCC?
Hope everyone is doing well. I am amazed at the number of personnel photos on
the
internet of people who have had skin cancer. It really does help connect with
others and
compare.
That is what got me to the dermatologist in the first place - a photo that
looked just like
my cancer - I knew what it was even before I saw the doctor - it helped me
prepare myself
- less shock, I guess you could say.
Well Happy Valentine's Day to all.
