I have just completed the year of interferon and I'm hopeful that it worked.
Some of the
things I have read are more promising for the higher doses than the lower
ones, so I'm still looking over my shoulder, both figuratively and literally
(since the primary was in the middle of my back--where you can't reach it with
sunblock). I just came from the three month CT and MRI results at the doc, and
it looks like so far so good.
I have met some other melanoma patients where their prognosis is not good at
all--and it's a scary thought --what melanoma can do if not caught in the early
stages. I just keep doing what they tell me, and hoping that it was caaught earl
enough, but only the five years from now will tell, right?
