Hi Group,
About fifteeen months ago, I had a malignant melanoma removed that had
a depth of 0.7 mm on the head just behind the ear. So far everything
has been good and my chances of 'cure' are very good.
The question I have is that the Physicial Assistant I see at the VA
has prescribed nicacin for me to lower my cholestrial level. This is
due to the fact that I get reactions to any satin drugs. Niacin
effects the skin causing itching. Would it it any way be bad for me
since I have had melanoma? I am making an appointment to see my skin
doctor because I just don't feel good about it, but would like to hear
if anybody has any information about it.
