Hi there - you keep battling.... a real fighter

and you could be another one of those people who - just mystify the medics

Keep eating the fresh fruit and vegetables - and leave off the sex for a bit -
they say eating strawberries instead works - but why would anyone wish to try
it?

You are in our thoughts and hearts

Love and Healing

Subject: [fight together] My Tests At Hospital

Hi Everyone,
Well Friday morning was "really a rough ordeal for me" to drink that four
liter bottle "before going to the hospital for my colonscope and body cat scan"
My Colon Exam went fairly well but my Oxygen dropped to 70 really fast
and they had some problems with my Fibrillations but gave me Oxygen and
medication right away for it. I have Diverticulitis really bad but he didn't
feel I had Colon Cancer --PTL! BUT all of the biopsys are not back yet. I had
a couple lesions he removed. When they wheeled me out of that room and back to
Day Surgery I was totally alert, awake and kidding them all. Doctor told me I had
to be very careful for awhile [no heavy lifting, eating no greasy foods and no
sex]
I looked at the nurse and kiddingly said "I can't have any sex?" and they all
just roared with laughter! They loved my attitude and my positive outlook on
these tests and my strong Faith. Told them I had "really gotten nervous" before
hand as I was dreading all of those tests so much and I had all of you out here
praying for me and it really helped to know that!
After I was done with the Colonostophy [I was almost totally awake the
whole time as all he'd give me was some Demorel. It did relax me some but didn't
put me on cloud nine like so many had told me it would] they gave me 30 more
oz. of "chalk like stuff" to drink for the Cat Scan! Let me tell you it was
really yucky stuff! I don't know anything about the scan yet either.
AM really sore and extremely gassy
but that follows the Colonostophy he told me. Haven't been on the computer
much but am reading and praying for you all.
Please continue to keep me in prayers also --Thanks
Thank all of you that have sent me e-cards,personal emails and called
me.
Hugs And Prayers
