Hi

I am sorry to have to welcome you to the club of those with melanoma. I have
melanomaIV - somewhat more serious - but I know what you are going through as I
have been stage 1 (about 12 years ago).

Firstly - I cannot help you with basal cell - you may want to look further by
joining MPIP - look it up on yahoo. that is Melanoma Patients Information board?

Secondly

-tell your family that your have it, hug , and maybe cry with loved ones - you
need to release that shock and hurt and the scared feeling. Holding it back will
not help you

Thirdly
A good friend, a respected doctor, asked 'why now'?

I think it comes because of stress and diet. So start today to undo anything bad
e.g.
-reduce alcohol, sugar,smoking, coffee, tea
-cut down stress - or find ways to relax
-reduce sugar and fat intakes

-help the body fight
-more fresh fruit and vegetables (preferably organic)
-an occasional green tea
-fresh fruit juice
-plenty of water
-sunshine
-happiness (treats)

Possibly - most of all - BE POSITIVE - help them do the surgery - tell them to
be brave

Once you think about it - and get over the shock, you will realise this is a
warning and an opportunity to ensure that you really do make the most of life.

show my doctor. He sent me to aDermatolgy. She said it have to come
off , haha Yes take it off now, i got like sick, no pain. I was glad "
all done " Doctor call 10 Days Later when Biopsy came back. Basal cell
Carcinoma," What " Is this. Sick all over again Family very upset. I
wont tell the Family. But i'll tell the club I am so Scare. Have to go
back Oct 13, to go Deeper. Can somebody tell me about this. Thank you
