It is interleuken2 - an immunotherapy. It stimulates the immune system - which
hopefully will identify the cancers as being alien - and attack them also.

I felt just tired this morning and my buttocks ached! I just did a few minor
things - but after lunch I just zonked out and slept all afternoon on the sofa.
This evening Charlotte gave a presentation to the Rotary Club - who had
sponsored her on a leadership and teamwork week. She did amazingly well - as
soon as I got home I injected again - so I am managing life in between symptoms
and treatments.

I have three injections in a row - one each day. then another three after two
weeks, then another after two weeks - then three after a month, and monthly
thereafter. The Prof believes low-dose is as affective as high dose - so the
symptoms are (so far) not so bad and I take 2 panadol whenever I inject.

I tell you 'self-injection' in the tummy - actually makes you 'feel' that you
are doing something! Maybe it is just the fact that I have overcome the
reservations about injecting...
