Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to update you on how things seem to be going here.
I seem to be getting a little stronger and have been practicing walking
around my house without the cane daily BUT when I go shopping or to the doctors
I use the cane as I never know how far I'll have to walk and sometimes my leg
gets "spongy,weak and trembles alot" My grip in my right hand is getting
better but I have two fingers that just won't cooperate with "the finger
exercises" I have to do. I have had alot of trouble sleeping and adjusting to
the Oxygen. I'm like a Zoombie when I go to bed I just lay wide awake till the
wee hours of the morning and finally come out to the Living Room and take my
blood pressure and meds [if needed] to keep my blood pressure half way normal as
it wants to run high always and the Clonidine I have to take also to keep it
down some gives me "Cotton Mouth" and a very strong gagging sensation always.
Saw the heart doctor today and because of all the high blood pressures and
pulses I have to go into his office five mornings a week to have my blood
pressures and pulse taken on a new monitoring machine they have there.

My brother,Lawrence has had a increase in his Chemo [Xelonda] as he is
getting alot more Skin Cancers now for some reason. Please keep him in prayers
as he also gets weak and shaky from his stroke yet back in 2002 and his leg
trembles alot .He still is on his cane always.

Want to Thank You ALL for the many emails,phone calls,and things you said
on the messages to the groups as Everett was and still is very worried about me
and him knowing that I had so many phone calls in the hospital and since being
home has really lifted his spirits some. As you know he is suffering from
COPD,chronic Arthritis, and severe depression and all of this is rough on him.
Please keep him in prayers

Desiree' is very happy to have me home and she loves to look at the many
pages and e-cards and snail cards that I've been sent. Loves to look at all of
the pictures also and I explain who they are and she just smiles away!!

It has been a month on the 17th since my stroke!!
Everett and I will be married seven years this Sunday the 29th of August.
