Hi,
Lawrence started on his Xeloda Chemo Pills last night and IF he develops
severe Diahrea,vomiting,or rash on his palms and feet he is to stop them and
call the doctor. I asked IF there was any guarantees that this Chemo would slow
the Skin Cancers down and the doctor said no---there never is a guarantee

The nurse called today and my nasal culture showed two things growing [so
far--as they're going to let it grow awhile yet] One of them was Klebsiella
Bacteria and the other was a form of Staph Bacteria [which she says is different
than MRSA] So I had to get a second antiobiotic and start that right away. So
I'm on [2] antiobiotics now three times a day. She said that the doctor was
"still talking about putting me in the hospital for a couple days and pushing
some very strong IV antiobiotics---but he was worried I'd pick up something else
while I was there as my immune system is rock bottom" Told her I HAVE to get
rid of this and feel better as I'm SO tired of being so weak! I asked her if
I was contagious and she said no because I have no fever and have been ON
different antiobiotics since the first week of December!!!
