This does not sound typicly cancerous to me in my personal opinion. It sounds
like your pants is just irritating a mole. BUT, I am not a doctor, and you
should go and have it checked out. What might help you a little is to go to the
photo section of the group site and look to compare. From the way you describe
it, it doesn't sound cancerous though. You do however have an irritation, and
it is much better to be safe than sorry. Let a doctor take a look. It could be
nothing at all, but you would have that peace of mind. Plus he or she would be
able to tell you if it is the clothing irritating it. You may opt to have the
one taken off just to eliminate the irritation. Please go have it seen about,
and let us know what is said about it. In the mean time there is no need to
panic. Don't get negative about it, just assume it is nothing until you know
for sure. Try to do some things that will take your mind off of it. Find
something to read, do some things that make you feel good. Refocus on something
else. I will be praying for you that it all comes out okay.

Subject: [fight together] HELP FREAKING OUT!
Hello Everyone!
I really need some advice please...
I am a 27 year old white female and have been worried about two moles
on my body. One of them is on my lower back bigger then a pencil
eraser and protrudes, it's right on my waist band area and becomes
irritated by my pants. The mole is pink and has been the same size
for as long as I can remember. Sometimes the area around the mole
itches and has a white ring like a halo. My second mole is on the
back of my shoulder, smaller then a pencil eraser not by much but
smaller. It's round and raised up, it's a light brown in color and
there is no itching or bleeding I don't even know it's there half the
time except for recently. I started reading about skin cancer and
became completly freaked out! I looked at it again and I noticed
something that Im sure was not there befor, it apears as if there is
another mole or something growing from the side of it, it's skin
colored but lighter then the original mole. When I look at it from
the side it apears to be notched, like a bump. Im compleatly freaking
out and Im obsessing about it.
I would like to add that I suffer from sever anxiety disorder and
chronic Panic attacks, I obsess over cancer to the point of being
paralized with fear, I am on Prozac for my disorder.
