Hello Everyone,
I have not been updating very much lately. My cell phone got wet and
I got hit with some really bad winter weather. Much of my time was
spent waiting out rough weather in the middle of no where. Here is an
update and I expect to be updating at least once a week from here on
out. I built an MS web page that lists many programs people with MS
can take advantage of. Here is the link

It has been a very long time since my last update when I was at the
tip of the Chesapeake Bay. So much happened during that time and I
met so many great people. I have written a long update, but decided
to only post an overview for now. I have a cell phone again and the
web site will be updated at least once a week. If I can not get to a
computer to update myself my father can take down the info via
cellphone and write an update.
The Chesapeake Bay took me about a month to paddle. Much of the time
was spent waiting out the bad weather. I stayed in Annapolis with
Dale Cructly and awaited shipment of winter gear from home. I
received frostbite on my left foot during the rough cold week of
Christmas just after leaving Annapolis.
The rest of the trip down to New Bern NC had many ups and downs with
the weather and food. I ran out of food a few times after being stuck
in the same spot due to weather. I did newspaper articles in
Annapolis, Elizabeth City, and Kitty Hawk. I also met so many
wonderful people along the way.
I had plenty of time to think about life and how my trip was helping
people with MS. I finally decided to come up with an MS resource page
that listed different resources and programs that help people with MS
along with some useful links about MS. The page will continue to
grow. I arrived in New Bern NC late Friday night and planned to stay
until Monday so I could watch the super bowl. Les Boop one of my
employer Tom Sines friends lives in New Bern and he let me stay with
him. Les has a 60 inch T.V so I won't miss anything on the super
bowl. The weather is warming up and the worst of winter is about
over. I did an interview for the local T.V news while in New Bern
