This is a little concerning to me. Obviously, our children are the ones that will be thought to need the vaccines over other children, and that is scary. Do we risk the swine flu, with children who are already not the strongest, or do we risk the vaccines? I also will have to talk to my son's specialists about this. I teach in the public school, and he attends the developmental preschool through our public schools, as well as having an older sister in another public school. Isolation is not going to happen, so we'll have to pray we make the right decision when the time comes.

pediatrifcians thought it was safe to give vaccines with mercury in them. It was not. Pediatricians are humans just like you and I and are subject to mistakes too. I would not go blindly into the realm of vaccines. Research and knowing your own child is the safest way to approach anything medicinal related.

I trust that our pediatrician will make the best decision for my son and our family. Please don't take this as a horror story for ALL vaccines. Many people are starting to believe all of the forwards that they read on the internet and generalizing it to all vaccines. I believe that the health professional that we chose will do all of the necessary research and if she says that he is safer having taken the vaccine, then that is what we will do.

Good point. I agree that this does not apply to all vaccines. Thanks for pointing that out. Personally am not against vaccination in general and my kids...
