Here is a question some one might be able to answer. My son is 100% G-tube dependent and is also non-verbal and I have had tons of people ask me if he "could feel it going in?" For those of you that have verbal gtubers - do they feel it?
my dd can certainly feel when she's getting full but I don't think she feels it like stream coming into the stomach. I don't think the stomach nerves are that precise about feeling movement of food within the stomach. otherwise we'd all feel it when our stomach are digesting I'd think.
