In the book Dr Ian says to think of it as a pyramid. You start out with the
detox phase and that is your base. Each phase after that builds on top of the
previous one. So you can still eat everything that was in phase 1 and now are
adding a few things back in that are new in phase 2. With the meat he prefers
you don't eat the same kind of meat for two meals in a row. You are allowed so
much per day and how much of that you eat at which meal is up to you. If you
eat all your meat at one meal or split it into 3 meals. The key though is to
not go crazy when you add some things back in. Remember portion size will
always be a factor no matter what phase your on. Your trying to clean up your
eating, reduce your portion sizes and create a whole new way of eating that you
can maintain the weight you do lose. So learn tricks and things you like that
work and keep doing them. Everyone is different. The hard part is people tend
to forget
they are still suppose to detox one day a week to make up for the extra
calories, etc your adding back in.

Subject: [fatsmash] Phase I over moving to Phase II- HELP!

Hello everyone,
This is my first time posting information. I am on my last day of Phase I and I
had to get on the scale to see how I was doing. I have lost 4 lbs and that is
with doing NO Exercise. I know if I would of worked out I would of lost more but
I am happy with my 4 lbs.
I was a little uncertain about Phase II with the meats. I know I can only have
3-4 oz of Meats but in the seafood section, can I have 4 shrimp with 3 oz of
salmon? If I wanted to eat everything in the seafood section can I? Can I eat 3
oz of Salmon, 4 large shrimp, 3oz of mussels, 6-12 oysters, and 3 clams if I
want to have a seafood feast for the day along with my 3-4oz a chicken as long
as I don't eat them one meal after the other?
I really need to know what to do. I know these amounts are maximum servings for
the day but I just need to know if I can have the option.
Thanks so much for your help.
Angela
