Welcome, Rosa. Thank you for sharing your story. I, too, am an ex-
smoker. I just celebrated my sixth year smoke free. I think about
it still as a diversion to eating; however, I know that smoking would
be the worst thing I could do for myself and my family.
I started the fast-5 program and loved it. I have recently
encountered some set backs due to a health issue that required me to
eat several times a day to take medicaiton...I slipped into old
habits and am only now finding my way back to the program. Also, I
travel every week and work in sales. I often am required to take
clients out to eat or try to get business around food-centered
events...I will definately have to plan better for these events.
I am still convinced this is a great program. In order to deal with
my health issues, I have decided to begin a cleanse this coming
Monday and then I plan on starting back on the program after I am
through that regimin.
I am so glad you joined the group. I look forward to hearing how you
are doing each step of the way!
