Hi Everyone..
Thanks for your repsonses. I am still lurking around and have been
playing around with different periods of fasting. My one hang up
though is my coffee in the morning. I used to (months ago) have alot
of coffee with cream and sugar - pretty much all day long. Today, I
only drink a couple of cups of coffee in the morning ( to survive - I
have 2 very young children!). I have been putting about 4 tbsps. of
unsweetened almond milk in my coffee. I know that it is calories (~40
per 8 ounces, 3 gram fat, 2 gram protien, and 1 gram carb), but it is
low glycemic....so my question is, when I finally take the plunge and
try the fast -5 - would this completely negate the fast?

I have a REALLY hard time drinking black coffee as well as a really
hard time getting up with my kids at 6am without it..any suggestions?
Thanks - Suzanne

I drink black coffee with Splenda sweetener. Not the best, but just like anything, you get used to it. I'm still looking for a non-caloric creamer I can add....

Thanks. I have tried stevia - a natural herb sweetener with no calories, but I just rather not have artificial sweetners all together, I don't like the taste....

I have my cream in the coffee too. I try to keep it low, but a little. Nowhere near 150 calories. I've been doing the warrior style, but not eating anything...

Kevin, stick with it for a few weeks. I did not lose weight quickly when I started Fast-5, but I definitely did lose! And I had been plateaued for quite a...

Thank you for the response, Bert. I, too, think that the person should take time to find out what works best for them. I have taken parts of things I've read...

Eddie, What I was describing in my response to Brett refers to the fact that most of the recent intermittent fasting studies are based on a 36-hour fasting...
