Just wanted to post an update. Today was day 3 for me. Yesterday, day
2 was terrible. I had no energy and caved in @ 4:30. I ate some junk
the first two day, but got protein and some fruit in, too.
Today, day 3, wow! I have so much energy! My husband and I went
hiking with another couple for 3 HOURS, up steep climbs, constantly
moving. I was going to bring a snack in case I couldn't make it. Wow,
my stomach only grumbled one time, @ 3:15 pm. I stopped at the store
to pick up some potatoes for part of my dinner. I made them, and some
steak. I didn't eat until almost 5:30 and even then wasn't really
hungry. I did eat though. But I was STUFFED and I weighed and
measured my food, it was @600 calories, and I was so stuffed.
Husband went to the store and got me a very small caramel apple (I
can't really eat dairy/wheat as I get very bad allergy symptoms) and
I was very content, and full. I couldn't believe it, especially after
3 hours of strenous hiking! :)
Wow, thank you so much, this is the best thing i've done in my life.
I must have had bad insulin problems, eating at least 4 times a day.
This has been a life saver. I laughed, and my husband really thought
i'd only do it one day and give up. He is very proud of how great I
feel! Before I had to take a nap for a few hours every day, now I
don't need to, and I have the drive to get things done and the energy
to do it. Wow, thanks again!
