Hi, I found the link to the ebook and (and then this egroup) via a
lifting/nutrition forum. This is my second day, and I have to say how
amazingly I feel during the day. I had a problem eating something,
then getting hungrier (like for breakfast) even if it was low carb,
such as hard boiled eggs. I recently lost 30# (before trying the fast-
5) and am hoping to lose the remaining fat on my body, and also to
make this a maintenance/life long way of eating.

I get up early (5 am) to go to work and this is great as I no longer
have to pack meals every morning! :) Or worry about food. If there
are treats in the office, it's so much easier to just know I can't
eat it instead of before, where I tracked calories, and mentally
focused all day on food. It's very freeing.

Since it's only my second day, I do occasionally catch myself in the
morning and afternoon from time to time, thinking "oh i'm hungry I
should eat something" then remember what i'm doing, lol. I find
having a diet soda, black coffee or plain tea helps, like in the
book, drink a bunch at a time. Then i'm good for another hour or two.

I have a work holiday party tonight and it's a buffet with lots of
fruit, salad, meat stuff so that will be nice.

Will be nice to see if my grocery bill goes down too!

Elizabeth
