Re: Going cold turkey

Going cold turkey has been successful for many people, and there is
nothing wrong with going that route. Those who go the cold turkey
route typically find the third or fourth day to be the toughest. After
that, it's typically easier day by day.

The key in either approach is to keep going until it becomes
relatively comfortable, which may be three weeks or so. If you have a
bad day and break your fast early, it's no big deal as long as you
keep pushing for a routine fast in the neighborhood of 19 hours. You
can change the window to suit your schedule, but end-of-day seems
easier to manage than elsewhere in the daily routine.

Best wishes, good luck, and let us know how it goes for you.

Happy New Year to all!

Bert
