Since I was a boy, I have always found women with flips far more
attractive that any other hairstyle. The 1950's and 1960's flips are
the CLASSIC FLIPS. Those flips can take my breath away. I am looking
for WHITE RAIN hair commercials that feature a gorgeous blonde pulling
a turtleneck sweater over her great flip while one of Franz Liszt's
Hungarian Rhapsodies gives background and foreground music to her
actions. There were ads for it in Good Housekeeping back in the 1960's.
The best website would be for a collection of flip hair ads.

Well - truth be told there is no "Tammi" - that's a pic of my hair after I got
out of the shower.  It flips up on its own that way.  I rarely even use
conditioner.  Being a guy and all, it's somewhat annoying.  Part of me wishes it
would just hang stick-straight like oriental hair often does.  But, at the same
time, its kinda cute.  What's a boy to do ?  :)

inches below my waist.

I have red hair and I'm 37 years old. The only pic I have is one taken a few

Since I don't have the file with pictures with me, I tried to copy some pictures
from Yahoo. Go to the following group: Fansofthfliphairstyle,

Under Modern flips look at the following pictures:
new flip
back view
picture 11
picture 2,
picture 3
new age blonde 1
nice bangs
As good as it gets
light flick
brush cut.

Which one I would suggest depends on a couple more things. What is your hair
color and how old are you?

I will send you my pic when I return home. Send me yours so I can suggest which
one of my suggestions will work best for you.

By the way, I thought the initial listing said your hair was waist length. Have
you recently cut off a bunch or was this wishful thinking.   Four inches below
the shoulder. That will make quite a pile of hair on the floor. We can also tape
the cutting if you would like.

As far as taking your hair, I would either part it down the middle and secure
each side with rubber bands just below where I'll cut it and then section and do
the major cutting all over or possibly gather all of it about 3 to 4 inches
above your head and cut it there which forms many layers.

You haven't mentioned anything about what length you want. THis is important
more me to know as well so that I pick a style you want.
