It's finally July!  We had a wet and cool spring, but summer is finally here, and it feels great!!

 

Our calendar is chock full of unique, fun summertime events:

·            Families’ First training on July 8

·            Weekly Dragon Boat Racing lessons on the Schukill River in Phila.       

·            Temple Grandin will give a free lecture in Butler Pa on July 22

·            Beach Party planned for Delaware in August

 

Smith Memorial Playground in Fairmont Park, Philadelphia has extended their summer hours, handwriting workshops are being offered in Marlton , NJ , and “Bridge the Gap” summer sessions in Newtown, Bucks Co. by Potential Inc. �" plus camping opportunities at Little Wonders Center, and others.

 

Plan now for the Penn State Autism Conference �" always held during the first week of August.  If you can’t get there this year, much of the conference will be broadcast by webinar.  Check out their website. http://www.outreach.psu.edu/programs/autism/webcasting.htm for more information about accessing the particular webinar broadcast sessions.

We’re having a wonderful summer at Variety Club Camp.  The kids all look great and returning kids have all grown so tall!  Everyone �" including staff is having a great time! Play Groups are being held throughout July and our Call Center is open to respond to your requests.
