I certainly don't want you to think I'm choosing sides but am only making
observations, such as in response to spending their money...hell if I were rich
it too would always be on the best that money can buy. but it isn't my place to
say whether they donate it to charity or spend it on prostitutes...to each his
own ya know.
as for re-using blades for surgery...what the hell is the Doctor using them for
if "HE" or "SHE" knows that they are used...they certainly know they are liable
for that and could refuse to operate until they were replaced with new ones. As
I said previously, they too should be held responsible for their malpractice
wouldn't you think? Unless of course they really didn't care for the patient,
only about getting paid for the surgery.
The Doctor should also get an attorney to review and make provisions for areas
within their contract to provide for re-imbursement for things of the nature you
spoke of...common business sense should tell them that and I'm sure they touched
on things of this nature in school at least I think they should.
Remember, it is the public who is unaware and not the Doctors. They too can
investigate a companies past BEFORE committing themselves.

The Musas don't use contracts with doctors whenever possible. It gives them
more ability to cut them lose whenever a doctor won't do what they tell them to

When you speak of getting on the "money train" you have it all wrong and here

1) The Musas convinced a doctor to sell their practice and were supposed to
give him a job. After, the practice was sold the Musas then cut the guy lose.

2) In Florida they offered to move a doctor down to one of their locations.
When the doctor arrived down there they were not happy that he was doing to many
contact lens exams.

3) The Musas send doctors that are licensed in multiple states all over the
country. Many times they make these doctors pay for their own flights and incur
a mountain of costs for travel, many times without reimbursing them. If the
doctor complains they cut them lose without reimbursing them.

Lewis, don't you dare tell anyone on this list "shame on you." I have seen
doctors face financial ruin because of the lies, deception, and dirty dealings
of the Musa brothers.

And here are some things you don't know Lewis. Did you know that the Musas have
ties to organized crime. Their father is in Chicago and divorced from their
mother in Bloominngton. This is where the Musas get their criminal background.

They live a lifestyle above the law. Would you care to ask the Musas about the
prostitutes that they had while they were in Spain on a buying trip? Nothing
but the best for these guys. The best that money can buy.

Lewis these doctors are not ambulance chasers. They are merely trying to
re-coup in some cases thousand of dollars swindled, cheated, and coerced out of
them by the Musas.

Here is yet another example. The Musas tell the patients that buy a particular
type of service plan they can get future contact lens exams for around $19.00.
Lay people are not allowed under state law to set eye exam fees or prices. Only
the eye doctors can set prices. If a doctor dares to say to them, "I refuse to
discount my exam fees" and honor your service agreements the Musas will have
this doctor removed and bring in another doctor who will. So basically the
Musas collect the money on the contact lens service agreements, the contact lens
revenue, and then shove these patients on to the doctors.

If you ever wondered why they had so many cases of DLK in their lasik eye
surgery centers it is because they've re-used blades for Lasik. Yes, re-used
blades for lasik. There is a group of ophthalmologists now getting ready to sue
them for this fact.

Lewis, doctors are supposed to be independent contractors but LVI doesn't
satisfy this requirement at all. They effectively employ doctors and that is a
no-no in a big way. Again this comes back to the bogus Southwestern Medical
company they created to pay the doctors. The doctors are not called employs in
any contract you see. They are called "contractors". Yet, states have criteria
of what a "contractor" is supposed to be. These criteria are seldomly met. The
Justice department cracked down on Microsoft for doing something similar to eye
glass world and lvi. Microsoft used to have a building full of contractors
working on projects until they leaned on them.

I also personally witnessed Amy White selling punctal plugs in the counsel
portion of the exam. Before the patients even came back to the doctor they were
diagnosed with needing punctal plugs.

The doctors arguing here have every right to argue for their recouperation of
loses as the prevention of harm to patients.
