Hi Jen,
If the welfare of the public is the concern, then the blame of mistreatment is
not with the owners but with those who do not follow the guidelines of the
licensing board to which they are obligated. The "Licensed Optician" is
ultimately responsible for the release of bad, poor or wrong prescriptions to
which they have an obligation to ensure that the product they, the general
public, are getting is correct. As for the ones who accept the terms of the
prices and products the company offers, wouldn't you think that they are just as
able to go down the street to the other guy to comparison shop before making a
full commitment?
As the old adage goes "Screw me once shame on you...Screw me twice shame on me."
Shifting to the Doctors ...I have seen the "Creed Commitment to the Patient"
promises they make before they graduate on the wall of the Doctors office and
they to should think before they sign a contract...so in essence to me they all
should be held liable to the public.....What do you think?

Lewis,
I think that you are COMPLETELY MISTAKEN.
I would IDEALLY LOVE to see these JERKS IN JAIL!
That is where they belong. Money IS NOT the important
thing here. The WELFARE of the general public is. As
a bystander you do not know the extent of what these
people are doing.
What is a "ambulance chaser"
