as an ex optomitrist I thought I would share an interesting tid bit
that no one knows or suspects. All except idependent eyeglass doctors
are owned by one entity. From the labs to the lens makers to all the
different eyeglass chains. from payless optical to eyeglass world
to sears optical les crafters walmart optical americas best lvi
new columbian optical jc penney optical the list goes on ad on. it
sounds crazy but if you dig deep enough you will find that they are all
conected and mirged into one parenrt company that branches off like a
tree to cover the real owners and help protect against lawsuits if it
gets bad enough they can close one name and open a different named
store that doesn't seem to have any affiliation. such as dr scotts and
payless optical. thats why the varied range in price a frame costs a
store $5 ad the company that sells it to themselves just pennies. If
you cant afford one place they have it set up where there's another
store with better value sodrme of the same frames but with a cheaper
looking atnosphere more of the mcdonalds of optical payless optical
compared to lenscrafters it all can be looked up just see the
connections and dig
