First, who exactly did the Musa's sell to? I would bet they still have their
evil little fingers in there somewhere. Besides, when you sell a business, you
sell the method and means with which the business profited. Any buyer would have
bought LVI because it pulled in a lot of cash, they are not going to change the
means because they felt guilty. Also, the Musa's staffed the entire organization
with management personnel who thought just like they did. If anyone had a
problem with how things were done there, they were shown the door very abruptly.
They had no time for conscience or ethics; profit was ALL that mattered. Whoever
bought the organization BOUGHT THAT and, I am quite sure, they did not replace
all the "Musa method" management personnel.
Like the Who once said: "Say hello to the new boss, same as the old boss..."
As I said, when I was there, I saw plenty of good results. I also saw plenty of
bad results, bad patient care, and deception on the part of the doctors and the
management. None of those belong in healthcare. The exception doesn't disprove
the rule, Einstein.
There's one born every minute. Which is why organizations like LVI profit.

Subject: [eyegw] How old is your link?
This site is still talking about the Musa brothers? How long ago did
they sell out? Over a year ago? Over 18 months ago? Things have changed
dramatically for LVI. Sure there is till the $299 per eye but it
CLEARLY states in the advertising less then a -2.00 sph on the Nidek
laser.
I will and have all my friends and relatives done at the Lasik Vision
institute. My wife went from a -5.00 -1.00 to 20/15 vision. Sucess is
all I need to say. It was also performed on a Nidek laser. By a LVI
surgeon!
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
