my mother in law has been diagnosed with rectal cancer that is rather
unusual. according to the dr, there are traces of estrogen in the
tumor, leading him to believe it originated elsewhere. the shape and
consistency is also different from colorectal tumor. the PETscan was
negative as were the CAT scans of chest/breast, brain and pelvis.
She had breast cancer 94/94 but has been clear since. she was on
tamoxifin. have any of you ever heard of this? her dr's are
confused at to course of action
