Comp Cancer: +4.855m

Ovarian, Prostate & Skin: +$100,000 each

If you want the colorectal number to ever be higher than there needs to be a
bunch of us showing up on Capitol Hill. There are two lobbying efforts that
CCNetwork gets heavily involved with - both provide training time and question
time first and then there are visits to your state rep arranged for you.
Usually it won't be with your representative but rather with his/her Health
Aide.

The dates for those two opportunities to be heard and to make colon cancer
funding higher are:

Digestive Disease National Coalition - March 7 & 8, 2005 Washington DC
http://www.ddnc.org/policy.asp
Day one is a training day. The second day are the visits to your Senator and
Representative's offices.
Patient Congress V1 Usually in June. Date not set yet.

If you are coming please let me know so that I can make sure that our issues get
heard extremely well. If you register on the DDNC site be sure to let me know.

I have this dream that 100 colon cancer advocates would join together in March
to get our needs heard.
