> One of the things that stops proliferation of some cancers is called a
PARP inhibitor. These substances disable the PARP enzyme, required to let
the cancer grow.
I believe, but don't know, that it is involved in almost all cancers. Look
it up in a search engine.

> Niacin and niacinamide are low-power PARP inhibitors. If you search GOOGLE
for Abraham Hoffer, you will find a page describing his use of niacinamide
and Vitamin C against cancer, 1 gram of each per day as I recall.

> It may be helpful to some to follow up on this. I take niacinamide 500 mg
as a preventive. It's cheap and can't hurt in these low doses so far as I
know. It's a B vitamin, water soluble, and cheap.
Take it in the morning as taking it too late in the day may make it hard to
go to sleep.>
> Niacin gives me a bad flush. Niacinamide does not. Inositol hexaniacinate
is a no-flush form of
niacin but I have not read that it is also a PARP inhibitor. And inhibition
of the PARP enzyme is the key. Unfortunately, more powerful inhibitors of
the PARP enzyme are not readily available to the public as far as I know.
