VI. My Personal Management Tip: Preventing Burnout
Burnout is very common in nowaday as we all are doing our very best to make a living. Taking a 1 or 2 weeks break is a good idea. But it might be too luxury for many us. The following are some useful tips to prevent burnout.
1. Work in a well-lit and comfortable area. Continuous exposure to poorly-lit or uncomfortable work areas lead to stress and loss of interest with your work.
2. Take a work break every 2 hours. Short breaks refresh, revitalize, reenergize, and refocus us.3. When you find doing something is too hard for you, put it aside for awhile.
4. Develop a hobby or interest in something totally unrelated to your work. This gives you balance and make you a more well-rounded person.
5. Learn self hypnosis or meditation.
These techbiques de-stress you before stress builds up.
