IV. Your Voting Right: Do We Need Setting Goals?
There are a total of 23 people participateing in our voting. It is a good start. The result is:
Yes, we need to set goal: 100%
No, we do not need to have goal: 0%
We are having a 100% "Yes" to our question. It seems that most of us believe that we need to have goals to make us progress. However, how many of you really set your goals? People with goals usually acheive more and faster than people without. I urge you to set your goals now.
Attached please find a Goal List. Print it out and write down all your goals onto it. Post this list in a place where you can see it everyday. This is one of the best way to keep you reminded of your own goals.
V. My Time Management Tip: Your Own Monthly Organizing List
One of the best way to organize yoruself and make your life easier is to work out a Monthly Organizing List for yourself.
The Monthly Organizing List should be different each week focusing on what should be done that month, plus some small steps that can move yourself becoming more organized in a long run. Tick whatever is done during the month.
A typical Monthly Organizing List can be like this:
____ Check your medicine cabinet to see any expired items and new items needed.
____ Set your 2003 Goals, if you still haven't set them yet.
____ Throw away all filed memo, which are over 5 years' old.
____ Buy Valentine's Day Gifts for your loved ones.
____ Backup your harddisk.
____ Enrol the NLP Practitioner Training 2003. (BTW, it starts from March 1 2003)
____ Update my Resume.
____ Go to NLP Introduction Session at St James settlement on Feb 21 2003.
You will find it very interesting and fulfilling when you tick off the items one by one. You are ticking your way to a more organized life.
I had prepared a set of blank Monthly Organizing Lists for every month of 2003. If you want it, you can download it from the following link:
