譚頓是一個喜歡拉琴的年輕人,可是他剛到美國時,卻必須到街
過了好一段時日,譚頓賺到了不少賣藝錢之後,就和黑人琴手道
在大學裡,雖然譚頓不像以前在街頭拉琴一樣賺很多錢,但他的
十年後,譚頓有一次路過那家商業銀行,發現昔日老友--黑人
當黑人琴手看見譚頓突然出現時,很高興地停下拉琴的手,熱絡
譚頓回答了一個很有名的音樂廳名字,但黑人琴手反問道:那家
那黑人哪裡知道,十年後的譚頓,已經是一位國際知名的音樂家
我們會不會也像黑人琴手一樣,一直死守著「最賺錢的地盤」而
我們的才華、我們的潛力、我們的前程,會不會因死守著「最賺
人,必須懂得即時抽手,離開那看似最賺錢,卻不再進步的地方
生命是罐頭,膽量是開罐器,我們要握著有膽量的開罐器,
才能打開生命的罐,也才能品嚐裡頭的甜美滋味!

前幾期我曾經談到星球大戰第三集電影,今天打算再多講一點;
在星球大戰電影過去幾集,都不停談到一個重要的概念:關掉電
腦、相信自己的直覺!
過去兩天,我連續犯了兩個錯誤,星期四那天,我竟然準備了應
該是下一個星期的課程資料,而星期五那天,我又把課程的
PowerPoint遺漏在家堙A但幸好兩次都在太遲之前,我都感覺到心
中有點不舒服,而我又相信自己的感覺,從而能夠避免問題出現。
我們對於外在世界的直覺,其準確性建基於你的經驗,與及你平常
的觀察力,所以這種直覺,對某些人來說,可能很準確,但對另外
一些人來說,卻可以有十分大的誤差。
但是對於自己的直覺,卻可以十分準確,因為沒有人能比自己更了
解自己,只要你平常能認真對待你的感覺,並相信它們的真確性,
你的直覺是可以一天比一天更加準確,成為你的自我察覺的最好工
具。
連續兩天的錯誤,我的直覺告訴我,我可能真的太疲累了,直覺又
告訴我,我需要多一點休息;本來六月初是我的假期,但因為先前
應承了別人為他的機構進行培訓,也因為可以增加收入,我決定犧
牲了我的假期;直覺再次告訴我,切勿胡亂承諾他人,而且收入也
不是最重要的。
直覺是一種奇妙的東西,如果你不相信它,它就不會出現,但如果
你開始相信它,它出現的次數越見頻密,而當它每次出現的時候,
你也去研究它、印証它,它就會進化得愈來愈準確!

V. My Coaching Tips: Bizuccess System Series - Top 5
Ways to Double Your Effectiveness

From this week onwards, I am starting a new series of
BiZuccess System. Bizuccess System is one of my new
concepts in successful business operation. No matter you are
running a home-based business or you are working for a multi-
billion corporation, you can apply the BiZuccess System to
maximize your results.
In this first part of the System, I will discuss with you how to
double your effectiveness within a very short period of time.
Unlike efficiency, effectiveness enhances the amount of results
you get. You do less but get more.
1. Expect twice as much from others. Your clients can buy
more than you expect. You staff can deliver more than you expect.
Your suppliers can provide more than you expect. Just expect and
ask them to do so. Be shameless. If what you request them doing
is something right, doing more just means becoming more right.
You must get used to hearing people saying "no" to you. It is OK
so far if you receive at least some "yes".You do not lose anything
but the gain is significiant.
2. Expect twice as much from yourself, too. You can produce
double the result if you really want to. Expect yourself twice as
much. Then think how you can achieve it.
3. Stop doing what you don't like. If you do not like to do
something, you do it with great pains. You do not put forth all your
efforts and you are not interested enough to be creative in the
process. It takes more time for you than someone who love the
job to get it done. You waste the time and you do not produce
great results. Stop doing them. Delegate, negotiate, or trade
with someone.
4. Reduce your normal appointment time to 50%. If you
make an appointment with a client and you usually schedule
1 hour, make it 30 minutes. You will shock to find out that you
can achieve the same thing with much less time. I start doing
this 2 years ago and I get more leisure time each day.
5. Tell others exactly what you want. You waste your
waiting time for something, which is not what you want. Others
waste their time in preparing it. When you want something, tell
others EXACTLY what, when, how, where you want it. Ask
them to repeat to you so that you can ensure everything is
correct before he/she starts. Write it down or even draw it if
that something is too complicated to be understand simply
by verbal instruction.
