wow, i think you are the first person i've ever heard of getting
ewings after the age of 30. i thought i was old when i got when
i was 28.
What bone specifically in your foot was affected.
Are you using a cane or crutches?
My ewings was in my iliac crest (large flat bone in the pelvis
above the hip). it was completely removed, with nothing to
replace it. my muscles in that area were re-rerouted
ingeniously and now it appears i can walk just fine (after a lot
of physical therapy)
Where did you have you treatment. An have you gone to an
orthopedist or two for second opinions on what can be done about
the current state of your foot. i can recommend one of the best
in the nation.
And one thing about any soft tissue cancer, it really depends on
WHERE it is and not WHAT it is. We've all had ewings, and
that's a unifying factor, but post-surgery and treatment, it
really depends on WHERE the cancer was to really get good
advice. hopefully someone out there will have had ewings in the
foot area.
