---Hi There. I'm a 25 year old male who in may of
2002 found out that i had ewings also in my pelvis.
As of this coming weekend this will be my 10 chemo
treatment. Also, in september i had hemipelvectomy
with an allograft. Basically the right side of my
pelvis was removed and replaced with a donor bone. I
gone through a lot and at times have just wanted to
quit. I know how it feels to think that your okay, i
feel good almost all the time, and think that i've
been cured. In reality though, i know that i'm still
sick, and if i don't finish the treatments i'm sure to
die. Your brother has to realize that it may seem
like a life time of treatments, but he's only 27 and
has many years ahead of him. He has plenty of time to
work, but it will be cute short if he stops the
treatments. He can only benifit from them. He's got
to know the important stuff in life, i've had to quit
my job, move back home with parents and also raise a
new son. things can end very quickly and there will
be many things missed in life. Hope all goes well,
take care.
