Hello to you all and sorry we have to meet like this, but we have to
make the best of what we have, and here we are.

My name is Mary Lynne I am 41 years young with an 8 yr girl and a 4yr
boy. I am at the final stage of my divorce (yeah!). He is far from
supportive and is in denial.

I was diagnosed with PNET late 2003. They found it very late (they
gave me 6 mo. Max) in my pelvis and L1 vertebra. They could not do
surgery at that time with out gutting me. I had chemo first followed
by surgery. In June 2004, my PET came back normal! I then had
radiation followed by more chemo. I was "cancer free" until March of
2006.

They found the cancer in my pelvis again and now in my lung. This
time it was caught early.

I am currently getting chemo every 28 days, Mon. to Friday from 10 AM
to 4 PM. My drugs of choice are Ifosfamide, etoposide, dexamethasone,
and mesna. I also get anzemet and ativan to help with the side
affects.

Does anyone else get that much and does your chemo last a week? They
say there is no end in site for me. My cancer is under control at
this time.
