Just got done with a visit to the onc and the ortho...I have one more
cycle (week) of chemo and I am DONE!!!! I got extremely neutropenic
this last week, so as a result he is cutting my dosages of chemo down,
but other than that, there are no mets!! I can't wait to get back to
work (girl needs some serious incoming cash!) and be a relatively
normal person again! My boyfriend and I are planning a cancer-free
party to celebrate, so I will post the info on that as soon as we set a
date. I am hoping that this will be the last of this ride. I can't
say that it has been fun. But I can say that all of my docs agree- a
positive attitude and a good (if not quirky) sense of humor have made
my treatments go so well and so fast. I have found another website-
www.abc-survivors.com It is specifically for adult bone cancer
patients and survivors, and it is a WEALTH of information. We Ewings
folks have got to band together and educate as many people that will
listen. By doing that, hopefully we will get more funding to beat this
disease. (OK, I am off the soapbox now.)
