Sorry to be so late getting back to you. I've been out of town.

There are a lot of people who don't post but read others' mail. That's cool
because information flows and is useful to many non-writers. Sometimes, I get
mail directly and that's ok, too. Sometimes, people are not comfortable
talking with a large audience, and that works for me, too. As long as the end
result is helping ES people I'm up for just about anything.
