Hello Corral Partners,
I'm interested in why this subject is coming up now? What occurred that
facilitated a need for this change. Our first concern was by limiting
access or posting ability, would this slow the growth of OK Corral. A
possible compromise might be that people can both read and post for a period
of time (? a month) and then need to become a member in order to continue in
the partaking. Just a thought.
The message board is there for us and everybody to read about OK Corral
Series and EAP; and,for growth and success among those of us developing
programs and continueing our personal and professional growth in the EAP
business. Pat and I support any decision that facilitates growth and
success among us all.

>Hello Corral Partners!
>
>We need your public vote on the message board!
>
>Beginning January 1, 2007 NEW members (not you all) will begin
>paying $25 per year in dues. We currently have over 200 members in
>the OK Corral and 93 message board members. Until now, posting and
>even viewing on the message board has been reserved for members
>only. Because you 93 (92 not including Greg and me) are the ones
>who have signed up for the message board, we feel it appropriate
>that you decide the fate of the board.
>
>So here is the question (actually the three options as I see them)
>
>1) Should we begin allowing the general public (nonmembers) to make
>use of the message board?
>
>2) Should we continue as things are now, with only official members
>being able to view and post on the message board
>
>or (and I think this is an option as far as Yahoo goes)
>
>3) Should we allow the general public to read the posts, but only
>official members can post on the message board, view member lists,
>etc
>
>Please post a reply to this message by selecting "Reply All" and
>simply tell us which option you prefer. Your reasons behind your
>choice are not necessary, but of course they are welcome!
>
>Only votes that are posted publicly on the message board will be
>counted on Dec. 31.
>
>PLEASE VOTE (Why not do it this Tuesday?) and we look forward to
>your input.
>
>Sincerely,
>Jennifer Kersten
