HI Vikki,
If you are a licensed therapist, I would think that your professional liabilty insurance would cover your clinical practice, regardless what arena you may be in. The other matter, regarding if someone gets hurt......... I would imagine the facility have their clients sign a waiver of liability which would cover the client if they were to get hurt/injured by a horse at their facility. Just my thoughts.

Subject: [equineassisted] Insurance for EAP
Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me regarding
insurance... .I do EAGL for different non-profits as a contractor and
use the horses already on site. I am trying to find insurance to cover
me should anyone get hurt. The non-profit equine liability insurance
covers the horses and thier own staff, but not me. Does anyone know of
a good insurance company that insured the facilitator/ therapist as a
contractor without paying insane amounts for horses already covered?
Any info would be appreciated! !
