Are there any words of wisdom on PARVO treatment?
On Mon, June 15th, my daughter-in-law got an 8-week old female puppy from a shelter near her work in TN, and it was diagnosed with PARVO last night, June 18th. It had been vaccinated for PARVO on May 8th but had been housed right next to a cage with puppies who had PARVO.
So far, the admiting vet bill is $650.00. This is the same daughter-in-law who lost her mother in May and her 4-mo old niece in June. It looks like that kid just can't catch a break, and it breaks my heart. Is there any hope for this puppy?
Also - we were supposed to go there for Father's Day and now I am afraid to bring the virus back to my house with four dogs. thx - Pam
