Glad Maxine gave you a good laugh....she's my favorite   : )
It is just awesome to hear how your daughter is doing and I know it took an
awesome Mom like you to discover this in her ! She will remember this forever

Thanks for the great laugh...a little to cloise to reality, but a great laugh.
We started are second year of home schooling today and she is very excited about
it. She read half a Nancy Drew mystery today!   Not bad for a kid that was
illiterate 1 1/2 ago...

Kids are awesome arn't they!
My daughter was seizing uncontrolably until we took her out of public school. 
She was illiterate weh we took her out and within a few months this little
Einstein began to emerge.  One of her home school teachers asked her why she was
so smart, litterally, jumping grade after grade.  Her reply was profound to say
the least,  "I just needed quiet to learn." She apparently was not retarted at
all and jump nearly five grade levels in one calendar year!

While going shopping with my daughter yesterday
She was driving us out in the country to a shopping center
to another town and she wanted
to know what causes seizures and epilepsy. So I began to explain my MRI images
to her. She listen to me intentively. I said many things can cause
seizures but my case is:

I explained to her about my mri and how the images
when you look at them on the axial cuts as you go down
from the superior to inferior slices you can see that
my medula (the body of the brain) it is deformed.
And it looks like an alchoholics brain deformed like
but I DON'T drink! And the posterior horn of my right venticle
isn't completely developed. This causes me extreme headaches when I
lie down. I hear pounding like a hammer on my head at times.

All of this was seen and documented on my MRI report.

I said to my daughter" That is why I'm blind in my right eye"
but I don't understand all the other.

she said: "it is easy mom because if the fortex is undeveloped the
growth gland something to do with that then that is what has
caused the medulla and venticles to also be undeveloped. "

"She said mom it is easy to understand"

I blew her a kiss as she keep driving us off to our shopping spree

why any other doctor couldn't and wouldn't take the time to explain
this or I couldn't myself understand is beyond me!

As I further explained to my daughter about the fortex
which is the housing of the pituitary gland. The fortex
is undeveloped on the left side of my brain which has caused
blindess in my right eye.
This slight deformity has caused seizures for me all of my life.

It took me 58 years to find out why I have been seizing all my life!

maybe I didnt want to know........ ....lol!

But oh well I know some airheads that have a fully developed brain!

Not in this room though!
