Epilepsy and insomnia?   Message List

Has anyone else experienced insomnia due to epilepsy? My seizures have
increased significantly and after about a week of a seizure or more a
day, though the seizures have not decreased, I have been unable to
sleep more than two to three hours a night.
I should mention that I have refractory epilepsy.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this
before.

The brain is very powerful and I know seeing I have the majority of my seizures just before awaking, there are things I know that will set me off for sure....
