Hey girl I have found a discount program that i can put my little girl on and
they don't worry about the epilepsy. Also I would talk to your local epilepsy
foundation and see if they can help you to get insurance or insurance help
either through the state or other means. That is what I am going to have to do.
I am going to have to talk to my state insurance commisioner to help me.
Sandy

Subject: [Epilepsy Support and Education] need a little guideness

Need a little guide ness

I work for the Salvation Army and had a seizure at work. This is
the situation. I have no health insurance and am running low on
meds. I have been skipping a dose here and their make my meds last
longer. It caught up with me and I had a sesuire in front of a few
co-workers.

I worked in the donation section and am sometimes left alone. Sense
I have had the secuire some one has taken my place and am now
working in an area with co-workers. They did not talk to me about
this switch of departments it just happed. I feel that they are
afraid I well have another.

I have contacted several insurance agents and also "bridges to
access" a program to get my limictal for free, so I well not run
short again. I have never forgotten to take my meds when I have had
a good supply on hand for the record. So this is the question.

Do I confront the manager about this switch of departments? I do
understand is concern for me. I DO NOT WANT TO PULL THE
DICRIMINATION CARD, BUT FEEL THAT IS WHY I HAVE BEEN SWITCHED.

Any advice

I would have an honest conversation with your supervisor. Tell them the truth about not having insurance (which I am sure they are aware of since they do not...
