I don't think your comments are exactly fair. I think our government
works hard to keep America fat and hungry. They keep us hungry for
truth, fairness, balance, and self-control. For example, Ephedra
works and our government takes it off the shelf because a few people
misused it. Cigarettes have NO BENEFIT and they allow people to
smoke cigarettes right and left. Ephedra allowed me to eat less and
look great and for some mysterious reason, it's now illegal. It's not
as easy to just "Be Skinny" as you allude to kind sir. Very few
foods are designed to simply help you eat healthy. Most foods are
designed simply to taste good. Have you ever noticed they don't put
carrot sticks in the check-out counter? And regarding self-control,
we are all responsible for everything we eat, but we aren't
responsible for how food interacts with our genetic design. God and/
or nature designed that. We all have different ways our bodies
metabolizes food. You can't blame anyone for your own genetic
design. It's like blaming a white person for being white or a tall
person for being tall.

So, I tend to lean towards empathy, understanding, generosity, and
encouragement when it comes to weight loss. Our country is far too
judgmental and dishonest to simply say that fat people are fat
because they want it that way. I hold people accountable for their
actions, but i don't blame people for how their bodies react
differently to food. I can only observe it and believe their should
be solutions for people various weight-loss struggles.

We all love a variety of foods to eat. Matter of fact, our body
requires a variety of them. That said, wouldn't one expect for a
variety of responses to food since we are all designed differently
(i.e. height, weight, ailments, body type)?
