Thanks, Matt. I went to Emord's site and signed the Health Freedom
Petition and emailed it to my Rep last night. I also listened to
Jonathan Emord's radio show from Jan. 14, 2006. He's brilliant and
his guests said alot of good things about the safety of ephedra, etc.
Very interesting show. There's hope for us yet.
Sweetie

Health Freedom Protection Act. I just signed it and sent it off to my
Rep. The petition can be edited which means you can add things
related to health (such as alternative meds, etc). I would urge as
many people as possible to check out that petition. The one that
ephdera.com has is good too. We need to get this information out ASAP.

They have one on ephedra and it's brilliant. The letter shows the
data contributed by MD's and others on the sound benefits of ephedra.
It also shows how the infamous Steve Belcher (Baltimore pitcher) case
that started the negative hype about ephedra was completely flawed
and biased to fit the FDA's agenda. It showed that Belcher had only
consumed 30mg of ephedra, however, he also suffered from obesety, had
a history of heat illness and had liver problems. Moreover, the
autopsy showed he died of heat exhaustion, not from "ephedra."

and have people manually sign it. You can then send it to Emord's law
firm.
