Having problems with message search?
Take Care, I love miracle stories! As a positive psychologist I am always encouraging my clients, and others to look at the glass as half full. I heard this story today: A religious Jewish man sat on a plane next to a non-religious Jewish man and offered him some Kosher food. The other man said "No, I no longer eat 'kosher' since I came out of the concentration camp and all my family was lost-even my son that I thought would make it through with me!"
Years later the same non-religious man was sitting on a bench on the holiest day of the year-Yom Kippur-smoking and not going to services. The same religious man saw him by chance and invited him into services. He said, At least you can say kaddish for your son and all your family!" The other man finally agreed, dragging his feet.
When they got inside the Shul, the first man said to the Cantor, please sing Kaddish for this fellow. His name is Joe...... and he lost a son years ago in the camps. The cantor's face turned red and then white-he turned and put out his arms. He was the lost son!
Isn't that a wonderful miracle story and true!
