Dear Kathy, Thanks for sharing and your comments are right on. I think we all have to 'override' at times. One of the best ways to override is to have a belief in yourself and what you are about to do that is so strong that are almost propelled forward. For example, I remember once being in an airport and having to move fast and endlessly because I had lost time and now if my kids and I didn't move we would miss the plane and my husband. I felt so directed and as if I were a giant rollerskate in motion-nothing could deter me. Obviously, that is an unusual moment, but the point is, the more sure I am of what I am doing and that it needs to be done, the more invested I am in what I am doing and less concerned if I must pass through territory that does not appeal to me or feel comfortable.
Any thoughts and other examples?
Take care,
Barbara
