Many things can trigger an anxiety and panic attack
when you have PTSD. Last nite at 1:48 am I heard a
noise outside my bedroom window in the back of the
house. I figured it might be a cat walking on the
plastic paint drop cloths under my bedroom window.
Then two minutes later I heard walking on dried up
leaves. I sat up slightly, grabbed my cell phone from
the charger next to the bed and my bayonet knife a
friend gave me four years ago. I then heard someone
walk into a coffee can I had left outside where I
collected the paint drippings I was scrapping off the
window panes. THIS WAS NO CAT maybe a cat buglar of
peeper. I called 911 as my heart pounded so loud I
could hear it through my chest.
An officer showed up ten minutes later. I told him I
called out for BUBBA to come and check the noise.
There is no one at home but me and my two little ones.
Hope you are all well.
