Social security s suppose to be open 24 hr. a day, so why put yourself through
this stress. Call them and ask them what it is about, if it's on the up and up,
great for you, but if not, then hold on to it as long as you can, getting the
interest, although they may want that to, but you have a right to fight for it,
especially if they gave it to you, and you can keep appealing it as long as you
want to. I supposedly was over paid a decent sum, and they were going to take
the money out of my monthly sum, but I kept appealing it on hardship challenge,
and after awhile, they just gave up. It really would have been a hardship,
seeing at that point, was barely making it through the month.

Subject: [EMS Fire Police PTSD] Hi all
It's been a long time since I posted. I just had the twelve year aniversary of
the tornado that brought me to this forum and have managed to survive it better
this year although it did set off the auto-immune problems pretty good. I have
started EMDR and I am finding that with so many years working homicide and child
abuse cases it's going to be a long hall to work through everything. One of you
talked about having social security money dumped in your account before having
gotten a letter of approval. That just happened to me this morning and even the
attorney dosen't know what up. Can you guys tell me what happened after this
experience. I want to be really excited that at least that battle is over but am
afraid to be. I hope everyone is doing okay!
Helen
