Don't ask me what the technical name is but it is using rapid eye movement or
sometimes taping in order to help the brain to bring out recessed traumatic
memories so that they can be dealt with. At least this is my understanding of
it. After almost 20 years as a Cop and working Homicide and Child Abuse for part
of those years, I expect to be going through it for quite a while.
