Wow Andrew, I too would love to see the book you're working on. All
this communication going on is great. It just made me think about
something.

Is there a way on this site to add profiles of ourselves? Somewhere
where we could place a brief history of how we ended up here, on this
site? Just a thought. With so many new people joining us and people
in and out, it would be nice to put a story and a place (vicinity) to
a name.

Andrew, I'm gald that you found a friend to talk to, someone that you
relate to on a more one-to-one basis. That's great. In a way, I too
(Bridget) wish my husband would join this site because he too suffers
PTSD. His is from the Army, special ops, 82nd airborne. He also spent
time as an EMT locally and witnessed "things". He is also on
Disability from the army for physical as well as PTSD issues that are
service related.

Both of us having PTSD has pluses and minuses. On the plus side,
speaking of crowded places, neither one of us likes crowds and busy
places, so that's not an issue for us.

Amy, as far as keeping a journal. my counselor has been after me for
two years now, to write things down...dreams....daily journal, etc.
For some reason, my PTSD keeps me from being able to do this. I have
a very hard time with that. I used to love to write and keep
journals, etc. I don't know what it is now, but I just can't seem to
get myself to do that. Anyone have any ideas about that?
